Rumiya is an experienced IT professional, who throughout her career has worn many hats. As a Lead Software Engineer for ELSTAB Company, Rumiya designed and constructed a customized Lotus Domino solution. This solution was used by 25 different organizations within the government of Uzbekistan. In addition, she constructed software monitoring tools for the Cabinet of Ministers. Upon emigrating to the United States, Rumiya worked as an in-house Web Developer for Chevron Corporation. Not satisfied with redesigning SQL tables and ensuring intra-net websites adhered to predetermined design templates, Rumiya resigned her position at Chevron to study iOS software development. Rumiya firmly believes that elegance and functionality are not mutually exclusive. Her applications marry functionality with a simplicity of design that is intuitive and at times whimsical.
Rumiya received her B.S. in Computer Science & I.T. from Tashkent State Technical University. She is also a graduate of Mobile Makers Academy. In addition to making beautiful iOS apps, Rumiya enjoys cooking, baking, photography, and doing everything in her power to keep her husband from eating both of their children.
